DISNEY TRIP PLANNING QUESTIONAIRE
When taking a trip to WDW the one thing you MUST have is a good
plan. WDW can be a very overwhelming vacation if you are not prepared to go into battle. If you have ever visited the parks
during the peak seasons, you understand what I am talking about. Being in the Hot Florida sun with anywhere from 30,000-50,000
guests can be a daunting task. You need to be prepared to take these parks head on.
There are several good sites
you can visit to get a general understanding of what to expect.
Without a doubt, the crew from TouringPlans.com
know how to battle the elements and get you through the parks with ease. The Unofficial Guide to WDW is their baby and it
is an invaluable tool when planning a trip to WDW.
It may seem a bit much, and somewhat anal to plan your trip to the
extent they would have to, but when your breezing through the lines, and staying ahead of the pack, you'll realize that
this was the best investment you made for your trip to WDW and your sanity. Best advice I can give you is to go and buy the
book!
This is the link to the Unoffical Guide to WDW. It is very well written,
and a very enjoyable read (despite the size) This book is the key to having a great time while you visit WDW. Their Touring
Plans can literally save you HOURS of waiting in line for attractions. This is no joke. These guys
know what they are doing and are my top choice for researching a trip to Disney. They will give you ALL of the information
you could ever want, and then a little more.
Next up is another good one. AllEars.net is a very well run website.
Here you can find pictures of any hotel room, pool, or attraction that is on the Disney property. Not only that, but here
you can view menus to every single one of the Disney restaurants. Just about anything Disney can be found here.
An excellent choice for planning your trip to WDW.
AllEars.net
OK. The 1st 2 sites were great planning tools. Now, how about one that
can save you loads of CA$H?
Who would'nt want to visit a site than can do that for you.
The team at Mousavers.com
can find you a deal on anything from rooms, tickets, cars, and even airfare. Check it out. They won't dissapoint. This
is also a must when planning out your WDW trip.
Mousesavers.com
These 2 websites offer very unique Vacation Planning Tools. Do you create
spreadsheets? have many seperate pieces of paper scribbled with dates, phone numbers, and other information?
Both of
these sites offer Planning Tools to help consolidate all of that information into 1 spot and are a whole lot of fun to play
with.
MyDVC.com offers a version that is just for DVC Memebrs, and is currently in the test phase now. You can sign up
to be a tester at this site.
Mousemanager offers versions for both DVC & Non-DVC Members. Check them out!

You'll
also want to make sure to familiarize yourself with the park hours. The link below will give you an up to the date posting
of all Disney Park hours. Remember that is always best to call before you leave for the most current information.
Be sure to check out the schedules for Extra Magic Hours as well. Extra Magic Hours are select days that Disney chooses to
open the park 1 Hour before Offical Park Opening or up to 3 Hours after Official Park Closing for Disney Resort Guests.
Disney can & will tweak their hours whenever they please. Give them a call 2 weeks before arrival to double check (1-407-W-Disney)
Park Hours
You'll want to check out this page to find out information about
specific attractions at WDW.
A word of advice. Try everything! Don't assume you will not enjoy an attraction based
off of a similiar attraction from your local theme parks. Disney attractions are anything but typical, and are all much more
entertaining than anything you might find back home.
Park Attractions
Not sure about a certain show. Look here for in depth views into what
Disney does best. Entertainment! Just like the attractions, don't assume you wont enjoy a show if it does not appeal to
you. Disney Entertainment is second to none and some of the shows are worth the price of admission alone.
Entertainment
Everyone is always looking for Maps of WDW. Well, here
a few places you can look. There are several places to find Park Maps, but these are my Top Choices.
There is the ever
popular AllEars.net. They have PDF's of all of the parks.
Visit Mouseguest.com for a virtual tour of all of the Disney
parks. Very well done and something different.
Download Google Earth here. Search for Walt Disney World on Google Earth
for a 1 of a kind virtual tour of all of the Disney parks.
Lastly, you can visit the WDW website and have customized
maps tailored to your favorite attractions. Very nice keep sakes and excellent planning tools. Best of all (They're FREE!)

Looking for an Answer you just can't seem to find. Then you probably
have'nt tried this site. Very comprehensive and well done.
WDWAnswerGuide.com
Just about all of the sites mentioned above have variations of the Park
Hours, Attraction ratings, & Entertainment reviews. Visit them for an "Unofficial" take on what WDW has to offer.
Here is a list of some other good sites that will help you navigate
through all of the Disney information posted on the Web.
Another good resource for planning a trip to Disney is to listen
to WDW Podcasts. There are several out there that will fit the bill. Check out the link to our Podcast page at the bottom.
Forums are another great way to see what others in the Disney Community are talking about. Lots of good information to find
here as well. Check out the link to our Forums Page for these sites.
